GMP Management - Project Management Consultants

Our Team:

	Gordon established the company in 1989 as GMF Management. Gordon has been involved with the construction project management and development industry for over 40 years. Ian Pert joined forces with Gordon Mcalister in 2004 to establish GMP Management, which is the largest Management Services Consultancy based on the Gold Coast. Prior to GMP Management, GMF Management were appointed development managers for the Casinos in Brisbane and the Gold Coast. Gordon was also responsible for the development of the Sea World Nara Hotel. He brings a wealth of experience to tourism, leisure, gaming and retirement projects.

	Ian has over 25 years experience in the development industry and has a strong financial focus in property projects. Ian has been a Project Manager in Australia, the Middle East and Pacific Islands. A Director of GMP Management, Ian has been resident on the Gold Coast for over 20 years and has been involved in some of the area's most notable projects during that time. Ian has an impressive track record in hotel and residential projects and specialises in Approvals Management and Design Management.

	Gavin has over 16 years experience in the infrastructure and development industry and has a strong project management focus with an emphasis on the financial and time delivery aspects. With an engineering background, Gavin has a particular interest in major infrastructure projects, residential development and funders' risk management.

	Nick has over 15 years experience in the development industry and has strong project management experience with attention to detail. With an architectural background Nick’s particular interests include industrial, residential and resort developments with a focus on time and budget.

	Alan has over 37 years experience in the construction and development industry and has formal Quantity Surveying qualifications. Alan has worked extensively with Builders in all disciplines (estimating/tendering, contract administration and progressing onto on-site project management) before specializing in the provision of Client project management services for a vast range of projects including residential (high and medium rise), retail, community buildings, civil infrastructure facilities and a Jack Nicklaus Signature Golf Course.

	Andrew has over 8 years experience in the construction industry and has a strong commercial focus in property projects. Andrew has been involved in a wide range of projects across various sections including health, defence, education, leisure, retail/shopping centre, commercial and residential.

	James is a chartered member of the RICS, and has 6 years experience in the construction and development industry in both Australia and the UK. James has a strong track record of understanding and representing Client interests, through his background in Project and Cost Management across a wide variety of markets in both the public and private sectors. He has a particular interest in project and risk management both pre and post-Contract.

	Matt is the youngest team member of GMP Management. Matt has recently graduated with a Bachelor Degree in Sustainable Development in the Urban Environment from Bond University. Matt is particularly interested in the emergence of sustainability within the current development industry.
